Oooh that smell!  Can’t you smell, that smell?!  The smell of BACON surrounds you!  On the final stretch of the First Annual BACooN RIDE, prior to arriving in Perry, riders will pass by the only facility on the route that is makin’ BACON!  Give ‘em a squeal; a salute; or put mayonnaise on, to show your appreciation for the sacrifices that our fine snouted friends are making for us.

When riders get to Perry, they will be ushered into our “entertainment district” where they will have access to some great bars (the Kickstand, Crooked Rail and Hotel Pattee); awesome live music (Hearts of Hedons from 1-3 p.m. and INFUZION from 4-7 p.m. – smack dab in the middle of the Kickstand and Crooked Rail) for those looking to shake their rumps and the low-key sound of Homegrown Tomatoes in Soumas Court (next to the Hotel Pattee) starting at 1 p.m.  These bands are brought to you by the Crooked Rail, Kickstand, Hotel Pattee and the Perry Chamber.

Your taste buds are not going to be complaining because we will be offering pork and bacon tacos from Taqueria Villa (an authentic tacqueria that will give you the true flavors of Perry-dise), and great grilled food from the Perry Hy-Vee.  The Hotel Pattee will be offering a few exquisite BACON dishes from their kitchen.  SOOOOOOOOEYYYYY!!!!

The Carnegie Library is bringing in a few pigs for the city folk to pet and for the country folk to well…just be nice to ‘em!

Ain’t no party like a Perry-dise Party, so all you BACooNers better prepare to stop and enjoy the sights, sounds and SMELL of P-town!
