The “Bacoon Ride” in Iowa is a popular annual bike ride that takes place on a trail that runs through several towns in central Iowa. The name “Bacoon Ride” is a play on words, combining “bacon” (a beloved food in Iowa) and “Raccoon” (the name of the trail the ride takes place on).

During the Bacoon Ride, participants bike the trail and stop in each town along the way to enjoy bacon-themed food and drinks. The ride also raises money for local charities.

The Bacoon Ride has become a popular event in Iowa and has attracted participants from all over the country.
