The safety of our participants, volunteers, and communities is our highest priority. We have been working diligently to figure out how to adapt our events to meet the measures required by the CDC, the State of Iowa, and county public health departments.

We may have been able to manage handwashing stations, kybos, and spacing for the registered participants. Unfortunately, in past years, an increasing amount of people have attended the event without registering. There is no way for us to manage that factor and we are worried the measures we are required to implement will become overwhelmed.

It is with great sadness that we are notifying you of the cancellation of Bacoon 7 for 2020 and rescheduling the event to June 19, 2021. Please read the following information about obtaining refunds and jerseys.

Refund options:

    1. Keep your registration for 2021.  Your registration is automatically forwarded to next year’s event.

    2. Donate your registration fee to support the work of the Iowa Bicycle Coalition. The Coalition is a small nonprofit that works to advocate, educate, and build a community of cyclists across the state of Iowa. We will email you a receipt for your donation. Please complete the form.

    1. Transfer your registration to Big Rove ride on August 22. Please complete the form.

    1. Receive a refund of 75% as per our refund policy. Please complete the form.

At this time, we are changing our other events (Pigtails and Big Rove) to limit contact between participants, staff, and volunteers. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate these unusual circumstances.

Please be patient as we work to process any refund requests, we have two staff working on this in addition to their other duties. Refunds may take up to 30 days and emails make take some time to answer.

If we do not hear from you by July 1, we will assume you wish to forward your registration to Bacoon 7 on June 19, 2021. If you preordered a jersey it will be mailed to you when it arrives.
